Whispers of the Sacred Mountains Heart

You are currently viewing Whispers of the Sacred Mountains Heart
Whispers of the sacred mountains' heart, Echoed by the forests restful sigh,
Ancient tales of strength impart, Underneath a twilight sky.
Silent winds through valleys sweep, Songs of warriors brave and true,
In the stillness shadows leap, Guardians of the past renew.

Moonlight glistens on the stream, Flowing with the rhythms old,
Every drop a timeless dream, Every whisper tales unfold.
Hear the eagles mighty cry, Gliding through the dawning light,
In his gaze the spirits fly, Carrying the souls delight.

Firelight dances in the night, Flickers of our ancestors pride,
They guide us through the darkened flight, Their wisdom as our eternal guide.
Mountain peaks kiss the sky, Symbols of our endless quest,
Above, where dreams ascend so high, We seek our spirits rest.

Beneath the stars the secrets lie, Marking trails of hope and lore,
With every sunrise, we defy, The echoes of what's come before.
In the heartbeat of the land, Lies the pulse of ancient grace,
Together, as we humbly stand, Inherit the love of this sacred place.

Oliver Stone, a pen name, is an author deeply influenced by Apache wisdom and the natural world. Born in Silver City, New Mexico, his life journey includes service in the Marine Corps and a career in non-profit management. Stone's connection to Apache teachings began in his childhood, as his father was fortunate to learn from Tahoma Whispering Wind, a revered Apache elder, during his time at Mary Himes' Poor Folks Farm in Dry Creek. This ancestral link to Tahoma's wisdom ignited Stone's lifelong passion for Apache philosophy and practices. Drawing from his father's teachings and his own diverse experiences, Stone now dedicates himself to bridging ancient Apache knowledge with modern-day challenges through his writing. His work, including "Spirit of the Wild: Reconnecting with Nature's Wisdom," aims to help readers reconnect with nature, find inner peace, and live harmoniously with the earth, reflecting the deep respect for nature and interconnectedness central to Apache philosophy.
